This is the third website that Raynefyre has built in the evolution of Kael Reid, an educator, artist researcher, singer-songwriter, activist and whip smart wordsmith. Their website features a library of research projects, musical discography and an event calendar.
At this stage of their career, the focus has shifted from perfomance and tours to PhD research based and conferences. Kael wanted a a platform that was easy for them to update content and their calendar.
Kael Reid’s discography is integrated and playable via Spotify on their site, with Apple Music and YouTube links to their albums provided as well. Additionally, in Kael’s portfolio of research projects, there is mutimedia integration of audio, visual and written components. This was important to the client so they could effectively communicate their vision and research with their audience.
Raynefyre and Kael collaborated to identify the branding and colours to communicate the values and vision for the work they were engaging in. Kale wanted the site to be a modern, crisp and professional background for their research and creative work.
